Admission

All high school students can apply to the McMurry Dual Credit Academy. Your high school may be a preferred dual credit partner, or you may take courses at McMurry Dual Credit Academy independently. Homeschool students are welcome!

Begin your McMurry Dual Credit Academy journey today. The following items are required to be considered for admission to the academy.

For students enrolled at a DCA partner school:

1. Submit a free聽Dual Credit Academy聽.
2. Once you have applied, your high school counselor will electronically send your Dual Credit enrollment endorsement and high school transcript on your behalf.
3. Access your application portal to receive updates and the next steps, and register for your upcoming semester.

For homeschool students:

1. Submit a free聽Dual Credit Academy聽.
2. Enter “Texas Home Schooled” on the Academic History portion of the application.
3. Enter a parent or guardian’s contact information in the Dual Credit Recommendation section.
4. The parent or guardian listed on your application will be emailed a recommendation form to endorse your dual credit application, and a copy of your high school transcript will be uploaded.
5. Parent or guardian uploads high school transcript to the recommendation form.
6. Access your application portal to receive updates and the next steps, and register for your upcoming semester.

Once your endorsement and transcript have been received, you will be approved and eligible to register for classes.
